That was so awesome, WORDS, I DON'T HAVE THEM.

Okay, I have some.

Nikita from vulnerable to straight up scary when she held that knife against Richard. When she told Michael about Max. Her face. His FACE. OMG. The shot where he let go of her hand O_O.

Percy was THE magnificant bastard, if anything that box is making him work harder on being the bastard that he is. Oh Alex *pets* you are SO in over your head.

How much did I love that Nikita didn't even ask what was going on between Richard and Birkhoff before jumping in to rip Richard a new one? There wasn't even a question if Richard was the bad guy. Birkhoff's her real family right there.

This episode was like a freaking Greek tragedy with all of Nikita's issues being slammed on. She lets Richard know things she shouldn't because she's way too trusting with relative strangers, she doesn't let Michael know about Max because she's overprotective and controlling with her family. (Which didn't include Richard. Which I LOVE.) Oh, Nikita. I'm never going to stop crying if she gets a permanent punch in the mouth over trying to do the right thing.

I also think that her rush to trust Richard came about even faster than it normally does with the victims/villains of the week because she needed to believe that her father was noble so that she wouldn't be complete gutter trash. Oh, Nikita. D: D: D:

YES. She might have thought that Richard was her father, but Birkhoff is her Nerd.

Finally had time to watch the episode.

First things first. Is there no love for Roan? I mean, the guy is like the FREAKIN' TERMINATOR!!!! He gets thrown off a ship, doused with acid, blown up and who knows what else throughout the show and yet, he's still going like the energizer bunny. Not to mention, his almost unnatural ability to smell, hear and feel the 'bad guys' around him, like in that Turkish forest. That little scene after the missiles hit, he wakes up and simply puts his glasses on? No sign of ringing in his ears, disorientation or any other effect of just being blown up? That right there should scare anybody. I half expect to see a scene where he's in some high tech lab, techs repairing his internals. I think, if Roan ever smiles, the End is Nigh! He's come a long way from the smiling beach bum detective on the shores of Mexico ;-)

Percy is the personification of The Magnificent Bastard. The man is simply too many steps ahead of both Alex and Amanda it isn't even funny. Playing Amanda so that Alex would come to him and he could 'gloat' about how he planned on setting Nikita up, knowing she would warn Nikita, thus turning her into his agent. Giving up a pawn to get a knight.

Yes, Birkhoff is her little brother, the Nerd. Big sister finds him annoying but still loves him and nobody is going to bother her little brother. She's the only one who may do so.

The writers are working a magnificent storyline. First season was on how Nikita manipulated those she cares about, second season on how she's confronted with it and tries to change. First season was Percy seemingly being one step behind all the time, until the very end and still failing, yet the second season shows that in fact, he's even more devious that previously thought.

You know, I see so many parallels with the original LFN, it's not funny. In both, Nikita is going to be looking for her family. Who are her parents? Micheal has a family out there. Whatshisname is the Senator's son (in LFN Nikata was the daughter of the Big Man himself) destined to run Division.

So yes, Roan may be the last man standing. After all, what do we know about him? He's very good at his job. He's probably the first (and best) Cleaner Division has ever had. He seems to be loyal to Division, not Percy or Amanda (in itself a big red flag). My gut tells me there's so much more to him, so we best keep a very close eye on him.

BTW, last Friday's episode? Amanda shows that she too is as devious as can be. I love that woman :-)
